Andrea’s Renovation Project and Women’s Appreciation Day

Our Hope for Her conference in the Dominican Republic is less than 2 weeks away! If you are unable to join us this year, I wanted to share a couple of opportunities of how to participate and make a difference for the women we’ll be serving.

RENOVATION PROJECT
Goal: $2,250

Andrea is a mother of three children. Last fall, her 19 year old son got sick and died suddenly. Her grief has been unbearable, and she has had to struggle to care for her family during this very difficult time. We will be meeting with Andrea to pray for her and would like to also renovate Andrea’s house as a way to bless her family during this very difficult time.

The renovation project will include:

Sink and plumbing repairs in the kitchen and bathroom
New water tank
New stove and gas tank
New bed frames and mattresses for the girls
Interior paint

WOMEN'S APPRECIATION DAY
Goal: $1,750

We will be hosting 50 ladies from the local community for a Women’s Appreciation Day on the last day of Hope for Her. Speakers from the DR will encourage us and share their testimonies. We will share a meal, do a craft, worship, and pray together. Your donation will help cover the catered meal for the women and the gift bag items they will take home for their families:

Rice
Beans
Milk
Salami
Creole or Spanish Bible
Personal Hygiene Items
