Our response to the New York Times

Recently, the New York Times published an article “‘There Is No Hope’: Crisis Pushes Haiti to Brink of Collapse.”

No hope? None?  There is no question that this beautiful country that we love so much, that is filled with our friends and family, is in tremendous crisis. The political protests are real. The suffering is real. The needs are real.

But it is in difficult times like these that we are reminded that TRUE HOPE is only found in Jesus! Because of Jesus, we have hope and we are called to help others find hope!

As of Oct. 31, one third of the Haitian population is in food crisis and unsure of where they will get their next meal, according to The World Food Program. It doesn’t have to be this way. People just like you are joining a movement to get food to the least of these, the innocent children affected by the tragedy that surrounds them.

Team Hope is a team of people committed to meeting the most critical needs in Haiti. For about $10 a month, a hungry child will be able to receive a nutritious daily meal.

When you think of $10, what do think of? For most of us, we don’t even have to think about $10, because it is insignificant. How can something so insignificant to one be the difference between life and death to another?

YOU can help someone in Haiti experience HOPE!  Join the movement—join the team.
