HAITI
In the village of Williamson, the land is hard and the heat sweltering. The people in Williamson have not had a reliable source of clean water in their village. Some days they would have water; other days, they would not. A church partnered with Mission of Hope to provide a well for Williamson, and in April our team hit water! Once the well is finished, they will pump the water down the mountain to distribution stations so the people can have consistent access to clean water.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Laura is a local leader and a friend of Mission of Hope. She spoke at our recent Hope for Her event and served in the community with us. She created an online platform for local businesses to promote and export their goods around the world. We are exploring with Laura the possibility of service opportunities for Dominicans and Haitians to serve their neighbors in the DR. Empowering local leaders is a core value of Mission of Hope, and Laura’s leadership is a beautiful example of this.
