Stories of Hope | God at Work

The students in our Technical School at our campus in Titanyen, Haiti continue to make significant strides towards their future goals. Pastor Kenan, the Director of the Technical School shared, “Even though the country is having difficulties, God continues to work! Something I am celebrating this week is that two new electrical graduates have been hired to work at a local company.”

Students are participating in internships and are receiving jobs throughout Haiti at local companies with industries ranging from electrical, hospitality, information technology, mechanics, and more.

Please continue to pray for opportunities for students at the Technical School. Pray for strength, endurance, and favor as they work towards the dreams God has placed in their hearts and minds.

One of the greatest areas of ministry impact in the Dominican Republic has been the Family Assistance Program. This program has equipped pastors to serve their communities in tangible ways and provided opportunities to better know their stories and their needs, and to encourage them.

Another highlight of this program is that it makes a way for people from around the world to contribute, giving our local team the resources to purchase the supplies, and for local pastors to distribute them. These photos are from Pastor Edwin and Pastor Jose, joyfully meeting the needs of elderly in their communities. One pastor shared that when he handed a family the bag of groceries, tears began streaming down their faces. These bags of groceries are a moment of relief for these families in the midst of the challenges they face daily. These bags are a conduit of hope and a tangible reminder that they are valued, loved, and seen by God.
