Stories of Hope | September 2022

Both the Haiti Sports Complex at our Titanyen campus and the Pastor Training Center at our Bercy campus allow for large gatherings of people. Every month we see the impact each of these places has on men, women, and children in Haiti as they attend events. The Haiti Sports Complex brings high energy, competitive athletes, and joyful cheering. Earlier this year in the championship game between Bercy and Titanyen, the crowd erupted as Bercy took home the win. Through a partnership with Bose Professional, our Sports Ministry team utilizes donated speakers so the whole crowd can hear. Guetchine, one of the staff at the Haiti Sports Complex, shared, “When we have a lot of children at the HSC, the speakers are really helpful for us to share the gospel and to play some music.”

The Church Advancement team also uses the speakers every time they host a pastor training program, as well as in local villages when they host youth activities. JJ, our Church Advancement Director shared, “I brought the speaker to a church that I was asked to be a guest speaker at, and I’m very glad I did! When I showed up at the church, they had no sound system. When there is a really big crowd of people without a speaker and no one can hear you, that’s a problem. But with this speaker, your voice can go farther than it used to. It really helps me and helps the people get to clearly hear the gospel.”
