As a back-to-school initiative, Mission of Hope is looking for individuals and teams to come to Haiti to help assess the health and wellness of the students in school. These screenings provide helpful information and a comprehensive view of the medical and nutritional needs of the students.
Here’s where you come in. Would you come to Haiti and serve alongside our Haitian clinic staff facilitating health, dental, and vision screenings? You will visit schools each day and conduct screenings so that Mission of Hope can determine which students need vital medical care, eye glasses, dental work, etc. These screenings are critical to accurately assess the health of the students.
If you are coming with a team, a 1:3 ratio of licensed medical professionals to non-licensed is recommended. Ideal teams would consist of at least one provider (MD, DO, NP, PA) and one RN, Paramedic, or EMT.
If you are coming as an individual, we will pair you with others desiring to serve to create a team for that week.
If you are interested in more information on these trips, please contact Becki Scouten at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a great opportunity to partner alongside students and start off their school year with the support they need to succeed. You are essential in participating in the vision of bringing life transformation to every man, woman, and child in Haiti.
