Building Homes In Haiti

You can help build homes for families in Haiti through Mission of Hope’s housing program. As part of our mission of “life transformation for every man, woman, and child,” we partner with local Haitian churches to build homes for those in need in their communities.

After the devastating Haiti earthquake in 2010, thousands of families were displaced, and some of them still live in the makeshift blue tarps provided by relief organizations. You can come on a mission trip with Mission of Hope and help with the construction and finish-out of these homes.

Mission of Hope has built over 1,000 homes in Haiti to date, constructing both single homes and entire neighborhoods. These homes provide families with security, stability, and peace of mind, allowing them to thrive and build a better life for themselves and their families.

We are currently in the midst of a housing project in the village of Titanyen. Through this project, we are building 300 houses on two different properties. Titanyen—home to 13,000 residents, half of whom are children—is known in Haiti as a village with many challenges. Many people who lost their homes in the 2010 earthquake relocated to Titanyen. We want to meet their physical and spiritual needs, ultimately bringing life transformation through Jesus Christ.
