CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Update: 3/18/2020

Along with the rest of the world, Mission of Hope continues to monitor the ever-changing environment with respect to the COVID-19 virus and the related impact on the health and safety of the most vulnerable. The decision has been made to suspend mission trips through April 30, 2020.

Release Date: 3/12/2020

With the continuing global expansion of the COVID-19 virus, Mission of Hope’s leadership and medical staff have been closely monitoring the situation.
In an effort to protect the vulnerable communities that we serve in, we will be suspending our mission trips for the next 30 days (through April 11, 2020). We will stay in contact with all future teams as we continue to learn more.

Our priority continues to be serving the most vulnerable communities. We recognize that we have a responsibility and have been positioned to care for people who could potentially be greatly affected by a pandemic of this nature. Our local staff in each location are working with local authorities and local medical personnel to prepare for support in their response.

Please join us in prayer for the people of Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, the Bahamas, as well as for our local leadership teams on the ground as they continue to lead the ministry.

Prayerfully,

Bob King

COO Mission of Hope
