Through our ministries, Mission of Hope strives to share the gospel and make disciples. This spirit of teaching and training has fostered a movement of Haitian leaders who know and understand the Bible and are making disciples who make disciples so that more people encounter Christ every day.
Healthy churches are made up of healthy disciples, and Mission of Hope’s Village Champions are living examples of people who truly understand what it means to be an active Christ follower. Village Champions are nominated by their peers because of their proven ability to lead well and their dedication to serving Christ. They understand the needs of the people in their communities, which makes ministry more effective.
Strategically developing indigenous leaders is one of Mission of Hope’s core values. By equipping local pastors and leaders and investing in their spiritual growth, they are able to confidently carry out the vision of bringing life transformation to every man, woman, and child. This indigenous leadership creates a powerful and sustainable ministry that can last for generations and truly change a country.
