Mission of Hope teams,

We hope that you are experiencing God’s peace during this unique season and are finding comfort in His presence.

With the COVID-19 virus continuing to impact the globe, Mission of Hope’s leadership and medical staff are closely monitoring the situation and want to keep you updated on the changes to our upcoming mission trips. In an effort to protect the vulnerable communities that we serve in, we will be suspending our mission trips through December 31, 2020.

We will continue to evaluate the COVID-19 situation and will stay in contact with all future teams. The following statements will guide our decisions on future mission trips and are based on guidance from federal, state, and local levels:

  1. Our local staff in each country we serve in work with local authorities and local medical personnel and determine that there would be no heightened risk for the people in the countries in which we serve.

  1. We will continue to evaluate travel restrictions throughout the U.S.

  1. We will continue to monitor travel restrictions into the countries we are serving in, and ensure there are no bans on large gatherings that would affect our ability to host teams.

We will use all three of these parameters in our decision-making as we move forward. Our priority continues to be serving the most vulnerable communities. We recognize that we have a responsibility and have been positioned to care for people who could potentially be greatly affected by a pandemic of this nature.

Please continue to pray with us for the people of Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, the Bahamas, as well as for our local leadership teams on the ground as they continue to lead the ministry.
