Mission of Hope’s leadership and medical staff are closely monitoring COVID-19. In an effort to protect the vulnerable communities that we serve in, we have suspended mission trips through December 31, 2020.

We are moving forward with hope in planning for our upcoming 2021 mission trips, and have opened up 2021 dates for Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. You can find those dates here

We know that peace of mind and flexibility are important when it comes to planning for future trips. With that in mind, we are offering:

  • Reservation fee and trip payments made through January 31, 2021 are fully transferable or refundable if Mission of Hope has to postpone your trip due to country mandates or regulations regarding COVID-19.

  • If you make the choice to postpone your trip due to COVID-19, reservation fees and trip payments made to Mission of Hope become fully transferable to a future 2021 or 2022 trip.

We will continue to evaluate the COVID-19 situation and will stay in contact with all future teams. The following statements will guide our decisions on future mission trips and are based on guidance from federal, state, and local levels. We will use all three of these parameters in our decision-making as we move forward

  1. Our local staff in each country we serve in work with local authorities and local medical personnel and determine that there would be no heightened risk for the people in the countries in which we serve.

  1. We will continue to evaluate travel restrictions throughout the U.S.

  1. We will continue to monitor travel restrictions into the countries we are serving in, and ensure there are no bans on large gatherings that would affect our ability to host teams.

Please continue to pray with us for the people of Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala, as well as for our local leadership teams on the ground as they continue to lead the ministry.
