PROJECT STATUS: CONSTRUCTION
There is a crisis of leadership development among young men and women in Haiti. Very few opportunities are available for highly engaged character development and sports mentoring for youth in Haiti. Less than 20% of kids make it into high school, and even fewer have positive role models to follow. We're working to change that narrative.
The Haiti Sports Complex will be equipped with soccer fields, basketball courts, a basketball stadium, a weight-training facility, and a soccer and track stadium in an initiative to establish recreational and competitive sports programs serving 10-25 year old students and athletes. These facilities and programs are one of the most strategic offerings we can provide to build relationships with young men and women and ultimately develop them into mature leaders with respect for authority, for others, and for themselves.
