Mission of Hope

An Important Update From Haiti

Friday, July 13, 2018

We want to thank the thousands of people who have been praying for the people of Haiti and for Mission of Hope. All MOH Mobilization teams serving in Haiti have now returned to the United States.

God has blessed us with over 700 full-time Haitian staff who have been equipped and enabled to advance the ministry. They are blessed when Mobilization teams from North America can work alongside them throughout the year. With the recent protests over fuel prices, political issues, and the US State Department restricting travel by North Americans to Haiti, Mission of Hope has made the difficult decision to redirect our teams from serving in Haiti for a season.

We are now inviting the teams that normally would help MOH in Haiti to consider joining us in officially launching Mission of Hope: Turks and Caicos. We have been invited by the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) Government officials to help the underprivileged and underserved population that live and work there. What is even more exciting is that our MOH Haitian staff will not only continue to lead ministry in Haiti, but in the Turks and Caicos Islands as well! Our first Haitian leader has just landed in TCI, making Haiti now a sending country, as we send Haitians to serve in other places!

We are praising God that all ministries in Haiti will continue to move forward led by our Haitian team, as they have been for years. With all ministry on the ground in Haiti already being lead by Haitians and our mobilization trips now being shifted to the Turks and Caicos for a season, we have re-deployed our North American staff, including interns, to either TCI or Austin, TX, where they will continue to support ministry in Haiti, the Turks and Caicos, and Austin, TX. We are excited about even more men, women, and children experiencing life transformation as God takes what the enemy intended for evil and brings more Kingdom impact!

I would also ask you to pray about making an investment in our Haitian team that will be leading by making a gift to the Hope Fund, which helps pay and equip our team in Haiti. With teams not being able to travel to Haiti during our busiest season, this will have a major impact to the budget. Would you please make a gift to encourage our Haitian team as they work to see every man, woman, and child transformed?

Please join us in continuing to pray for Haiti, and let’s give our Haitian leaders what they need to lead!

Till not one is left…
