Instacart Employees Join Forces for a Worthy Cause - Fighting Hunger in Haiti

October 25, 2023, on a nice Wednesday morning in Downtown Austin, Texas, 120 employees from Instacart gathered together to pack meals for children in Haiti. Seeking a team building activity that would also give back, Instacart decided to dedicate their morning to doing their part to help with the food crisis in Haiti.

Tables were spaced around the room, and assembly lines were formed, as soy, 30 vitamins and minerals, dehydrated vegetables, and rice were funneled into bags, heat sealed, and then loaded up into boxes to be placed on a pallet. This pallet will be picked up by a Mission of Hope shipping partner and transported to a warehouse to then be sent to Haiti, where it will then be distributed to our network of vetted schools and orphanages.
