EDUCATION

Mission of Hope believes that education is foundational to life transformation. We are investing in the next generation through Christ-centered education, critical thinking, and quality nutrition. We provide special training sessions for teachers, administrators, and principals, which cover topics including classroom management, lesson planning, parent/teacher communication, cultivating a positive learning environment, and how to foster a nurturing, biblical worldview in the classroom.

Investing in education is a key driver for generational change, breaking poverty cycles, and transforming communities. Christ-centered education merges academic learning with faith-based values, promoting both spiritual and moral development. This holistic approach boosts economic growth by preparing individuals for better jobs and enhances health outcomes, as educated individuals make informed decisions, leading to healthier families.

Education ignites hope, empowering people to envision and strive for a thriving future. By investing in education, we lay the groundwork for a future where individuals and communities thrive, fostering a cycle of opportunity and improvement.

Our Child Sponsorship program directly connects a child in our school network of 16,000+ students in Haiti with a sponsor for just $39/month, which provides a student with an education they otherwise might not have the opportunity to have, along with a daily, nutritious meal. For many of these children, this is likely the only meal they will receive for the day.

Nourishing minds, bodies, and souls through education in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Building a better and brighter future—combining the power of the gospel with education.

Hertha's story shows the life-changing difference a quality education can make in a child's life.

Providing quality teacher and administrator training - from rural primary schools with teachers who may have received only primary education to some of the most competitive high schools in the country—we’re working for educators to have ongoing professional development to continuously improve the quality of every school.

At 13 years old, a sponsor made it possible for Heubreux to go to school again, but because he’d missed so much school, he started in the 2nd grade. Students made fun of him because he was old for his grade. At the age of 27, he graduated and is the first person in his family ever to graduate high school.
