Many people feel this way. In Haiti, the way things were before was unbelievable. The new reality, though, feels catastrophic. For a country plagued by hunger for decades, how can it be significantly worse in just one year?

These staggering numbers are the current reality in Haiti. In August, thousands of schools reopened. Schools that were open for only 12 weeks last school year are now filled with kids who are learning and growing. Because of Team Hope, there are thousands of kids in Haiti who no longer are hungry and are no longer a statistic.
