Mission of Hope is proud to partner with New Story to build the remaining
111 homes of 348 for families in Haiti.

THE POWER OF A HOME

In the past 10 years, we’ve built more than 1,100 homes in Haiti.

On August 14, 2021, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake devastated Haiti, destroying more than 50,000 homes and taking the lives of more than 2,200 people. Every home from our previous builds endured the recent earthquake and protected more than 3,000 people from reentering homelessness.

Because they have stable shelter, these families are safe from disaster and can even help support their neighbors in need. You can do the same by building a home today and helping Haiti stand strong.

The cost of a home is $12,000. Each home is built in partnership with NewStory and includes a front porch, living and dining area, 2 bedrooms, indoor bathroom with plumbing and septic, as well as a rain water collection tank. This project is fully led by our Haitian team and facilitated by Haitian bosses and construction workers.
