Avery Scott
I’m Avery! I am a sophomore at the University of Arkansas - Woo Pig Sooie! This summer, the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to go intern in the Dominican Republic with Mission of Hope. During the trip we will be hosting churches who come to serve, and we will be serving the community alongside them. We will do everything from providing healthcare, hosting VBS, and assisting in repairs in the community. While doing this we will share the goodness of God with those we come in contact with, in hopes to bring life transformation to every man, women, and child. I would love to invite you to have the opportunity to be part of this goal as well. There are a few ways to do so. The most important and impactful thing is prayer. I ask that you join me in praying for not only my safety and growth this summer but for my fellow interns, the teams we will be hosting, and for the Lord to soften everyone’s hearts as we try to grow his kingdom. The second part is through monetary donations.
My goal is to raise $6,000 by May 15th, 2024! I know this is a big goal so any amount will help me reach it. I am deeply honored to be able to obey the Lord in this way, and I am overwhelmingly grateful to have a community around me supporting me as I do so.
