Bercy High School

PROVIDING HIGH SCHOOLERS IN HAITI WITH A QUALITY EDUCATION.

PROJECT STATUS: FUNDRAISING

For every 100 children in Haiti, 40 will never go to school. Of the 60 children who do, only five students will go on to graduate from high school. Mission of Hope is working to change that statistic. Quality education is a critical part of our effort to improve the economic structure of Haiti.

Mission of Hope’s North Campus in Bercy currently has an elementary school and middle school, but as students are starting to complete middle school in Bercy, there is no more building space available to continue their education into high school.

Building a high school in Bercy will provide children with a continued quality education, an opportunity to hear the Gospel through a Christ-centered curriculum, and a sense of purpose and value. This school will give more students in Haiti the opportunity to graduate from high school, giving hope for a better tomorrow. Additionally, students will receive a nutritious hot meal daily, the only meal many will receive in a day. An excellent education is critical to a larger strategy of serving the families of Bercy and ultimately seeing Jesus Christ transform the lives of the men, women, and children of this community.
