Turks and Caicos Islands Mission Trips

Mission of Hope began serving in the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2017 providing disaster relief after Hurricane Irma. There is a large Haitian population living in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and our desire is to reach this community and other underserved communities on the island and to ultimately see their lives transformed through the gospel. You can help bring hope and support to these people who daily struggle to provide for themselves and their families.

When your team works alongside the local churches and ministry partners who know the needs of their communities, you are helping these ministries move further faster as we share the love of Christ together.

While in the Turks and Caicos Islands, your team will have the opportunity to serve in a variety of areas such as Vacation Bible School (VBS), kids’ clubs, construction projects, hurricane prevention efforts, mobile medical clinics, and more.

Are you a medical professional? Serving on a medical mission trip is a great way to utilize your acquired skill set to help people in need. By meeting the physical needs of the people, you are helping create an openness to the gospel, and many people have come to faith through our mobile medical clinics. We welcome the following medical professionals: MD, DO, PA, NP, PharmD, RPh, RN, LPN, Paramedic, EMT, CNA, OT, and PT, as well as non-medical team members. Using basic hygiene training as an entry point to visit with individuals and households, you and your team will gather important data about the physical and spiritual needs of the people. The data collected ensures that everyone in a particular community has the opportunity to see, hear, and feel the gospel, and it enables us to better meet the needs of the people to bring life transformation.

You will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with residents through a translator, play with the children in the community, share the gospel, and pray with the people. Our hope is that, through Jesus Christ, every man, woman, and child’s life will be transformed. SMT allows us to build and maintain meaningful relationships with the people and equip the local churches to meet the needs of their people. It is an opportunity to ensure that every person is reached with the love of Jesus.

Church Advancement projects are specific projects that contribute to the physical needs of the community. These projects represent the highest priorities for meeting the physical needs of a particular community in the Turks and Caicos Islands in which you are serving. Furthermore, these projects are part of a larger plan that has been developed in partnership with local church pastors and ministries. If you have special skills to contribute or want to participate in a specific way, please let us know.
